I just downloaded and installed it myself and it worked just fine. However it's only DX9 compatible so I'm going to delete it, I use only DX10 compatible planes.You don't mention ever installing it, did you think that just downloading it would be enough? You ask if you are doing something wrong but you don't say what you have done! How can we tell if you have done something wrong when you don't describe what you did?

Unless downloading it, is all you did.Did you read the install instructions within the downloaded file? I did and found out that it's a simple copy of two folders, but its old so the instructions give a path that is for the old boxed version. Did you adjust the path stated in the instructions to your actual install path? If not, where DID you copy them to? You should go and verify your work. Simply put; verify that you copied the entire aircraft folder from the downloaded zip file into your airplanes folder and also, all of the effects files within the download, into your fsx 'effects' folder. If you verify that correctly, it will work.
